Apply to present at PAC 2025

There are four main ways to apply for participation PAC 2025.

While registration is now open, applicants are not required to register in order to apply. Accepted presenters will need to register to attend the conference but can wait until after acceptance decisions go out.

What this means:

  • You (or you + your collaborators) want to give a 15-20 minute presentation

  • If accepted, we will place you on a 90-minute panel with 2-3 other presentations

  • During the panel, you will each give your individual presentation and then have Q&A with the audience together

  • In traditional conference language: Call for Papers, Call for Posters, Call for Abstracts

What you need to apply:

  • Presentation title

  • Presentation description (300 words max)

  • 5-10 keywords about your presentation

  • Preference on format: If not selected to present as part of a panel, would you like to be considered for a poster?

What this means:

  • A group of 3-5 speakers apply together for a single 90-minute panel, where each speaker is designated individual time to share their work

  • Applicants are accepted as a group, and conference organizers do not combine the presentations with outside applicants

  • In traditional conference language: Call for Panels

What you need to apply:

  • Designated point of contact

  • Panel title

  • Panel description (300 words max)

  • 5-10 keywords about the panel

  • For each presentation within the panel:

    • Presentation title

    • Presentation description (150 words max)

What this means:

  • You would like to present in an interactive, long-form, or creative format, such as: workshops, teach-ins, author talks, community dialogues, walking tours, film screenings, art performances, or combinations of the above

  • Accepted sessions will have an entire time block (~90 minutes) to utilize as desired

What you need to apply:

  • Session title

  • Session description (300 words max)

  • Format Label

  • Keywords about your session

  • Anticipated technology or materials support needs

  • Accessibility considerations

  • Capacity

What this means:

  • Organizations apply to run an info table in an exhibition hall

  • Exhibit halls will be open during long time blocks (3-4 hours) while other sessions are running

  • Other attendees are encouraged to come learn about, support, and plug into the featured organizations.

What you need to apply:

  • Designated point of contact

  • Organization Name

  • Organization Description (300 words max)

  • Organization Location

  • 5-10 keywords about the organization

  • Why PAC is a good venue for your organization (150 words max)

An exhibition hall to table is dependent upon securing additional funding.

Acceptance notices and the final conference program will be released by the end of September 2025.
