Expectations 

• All volunteers must attend one of the pre-conference training sessions: 

• Session 1: Friday, November 7, 11:30am-12:30pm EST 

• Session 2: Saturday, November 8, 8:00am-8:30am EST 

• Volunteers should arrive promptly at the start of their assigned sessions 

• Upon arrival for their shift, volunteers should check-in on the 4th floor of the MLK Library with the shift session lead

• Volunteers will be added to a Volunteer WhatsApp for facilitate communication with their shift colleagues during the day  

Regardless of role, all volunteers will be able to: 

• Direct guests to registration table and within the conference space 

• Offer a quick description of the conference 

• Understand the safety plan 

• Understand the physical layout of the conference
